Pavilion Aero 13: Lightest HP Consumer Laptop Ever

HP Pavilion Aero 13 Announced

Pavillion Aero 13, Hp has announced their lightest consumer laptop ever. It seems the laptop has a weight of 2.18 pounds or 0.987 kg. The laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 processors, up to a Ryzen 7 5800U as well. Let’s check out more –

Display & More

The interesting fact about this light laptop is that it has a Ryzen processor. A full spec sheet hasn’t been provided by HP yet. However, This being HP’s very first consumer laptop has a 13.3-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Not to mention the display has a 2.5K resolution with 10% more space at the top of the screen.

“Today’s consumers are looking for a device that is both powerful and incredibly lightweight to keep up with their increasingly mobile lifestyles.”

– Global head, HP Inc.

The laptop offers a decent 90% screen-to-body ratio. The bezels are noticeably shrunk to give it a professional look. The screen can go up to 400 nits which is a decent brightness even for outside use as well.

Build & Performance

In case you haven’t notice, what makes this laptop so light is the magnesium-aluminum alloy build. You see, Aluminum is light but to make the laptop lightweight this alloy has been used. The HP Pavilion Aero 13 comes with Ceramic White, Natural Silver, Warm Gold, and Pale Rose Gold colors to choose from.

Speaking of the processor again, Ryzen seems more efficient and effective than Intel chips these days. As the laptop won’t be taking too much load so lesser heavy-duty cooling works fine. As a result, the Ryzen 5000 series processor gives manufacturers the opportunity to go for a thinner and slimmer system.

Release Date & Pricing

HP’s Pavillion products are basically the budget lineup, but not Aero 13 in 2021. This design is particularly for business people and consumers who move around too much while working. HP Pavilion Aero 13 OLED will be available in July 2021 with a price tag of $749 for the base model.

Wrapping Up

HP has a reputation on Laptops for years. This is the first consumer lineup and seems pretty promising. Stay tuned for more updates.
