In case you need to catch up, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will support S Pen like the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Not to mention, there will be three models in S22 series and only the Ultra variant will have S Pen compatibility.

On the other hand, Note fans are not happy with the aforementioned idea. However, Samsung decided to abandon their Galaxy Note lineup recently. Thus Galaxy S22 Ultra is gonna be a hybrid of Galaxy Note and Galaxy S lineup.

The Design

Well, according to last year’s Galaxy S lineup release, there are still a few days left and the first live images of the next Galaxy S lineup are leaked for quite a while. It seems Samsung’s design department is on vacation as leaked images featured a Note 10 like device. However, the only noticeable change, the rare camera module has been updated.

Speaking of changes, the back panel has a matt finish and there are six cutouts on the rare camera module. There seems laser autofocus and LED flash at the module as well.

Note that, slightly box-like shaped Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature S Pen with slots to store it just Galaxy Note devices.

The Shooters

For the S22 Ultra model, the main cam can be a 108MP shooter, with a 12MP ultra-wide, and two 10MP telephoto shooters with 3X and 10X optical zoom respectively.

Like Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung is planning to use a UDC (Under-Display Camera) in their Infinity-O display as a selfie shooter. Obviously, this UDC will be better than the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
