Xbox is getting browser support, before the big event of Xbox and Bethesda E3 showcase announced by Microsoft on June 13, the company seems to reveal more. Microsoft announced some news about Xbox Games Pass Ultimate is getting support for streaming games seamlessly on browsers.



The Upcoming Feature

Microsoft’s CEO, Satya Nadella, and Xbox chief Phil Spencer want to extend Xbox coverage beyond consoles. Microsoft is talking about several updates coming soon to Xbox. The most thrilling update will be the support of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to stream on browsers without needing any dedicated app for it.

Availability

Microsoft has been planning for such a step from the beginning of 2021. However, This is high time Microsoft rolls on. Due to emergency situations, the Global market is lacking production which did not show mercy to gaming platforms like Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, and so on.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Support for browsers will be awesome. The feature will be open for all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users within a few weeks, promised Microsoft.




Compatible Browsers

Compatible browsers are expected to be Chrome and Edge. Safari is on the list as well. Microsoft always wanted to make a dedicated Game Pass App for Apple devices. Due to Apple’s App Store complexities, Microsoft didn’t seem serious until now. Nevertheless, this must be a piece of good news for Apple Users.

Support for New Regions

Furthermore Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be expanding to new regions. The list includes Australia, Mexico, Brazil, and Japan by the end of 2021. Will you be amazed to know that the company is convincing TV makers to include support for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate? Anyway, It hasn’t been confirmed yet.




Cloud Support

How about cloud gaming? Well, Microsoft said something about the integration of cloud gaming. There will be support for cloud gaming in the Xbox App on PC at the end of 2021. The company is planning to avail of maximum options for cross-platform compatibility.
